San Benito- Superintendents all over Cameron County are reporting new numbers of teachers still needing to be vaccinated.
With more and more teachers wanting the vaccine, there is still an ongoing search for more COVID-19 vaccines for teachers.
“Teachers serve as an outlet, as the means to communicate to children,” says Cameron County Health Administrator Esmeralda Guajardo.
“And so the teachers are explaining to children about personal hygiene, social distancing, wearing a mask and now the vaccine that’s going to help us in the long run.”
