UTRGV- UTRGV is keeping track of how many faculty, staff, and students have gotten the COVID-19 Vaccine through the university’s Vaccine Portal.
UTRGV President, Guy Bailey says that the university is preparing for an online Summer semester and adds that some in-person classes may be added for summer, depending on the results from the Vaccine Portal.
“We need to make sure that the campus is substantially vaccinated and that we have immunity in our community before we come back to campus,” says President Bailey.
“Fall will probably look more normal than last fall did. Will we be at 100 percent back? I can’t answer that question yet because I really don’t have all the information yet.”
