UTRGV Women’s Soccer faced Our Lady of the Lake in Edinburg on September 15th and defeated them 3-0.
Forward Emily Zapata scored two goals during the game to make her the all-time program leader in goals with a total of 29.
Over the weekend, UTRGV Women’s Volleyball swept the Pirate Invitational in Greenville, NC, beating all three other teams that competed there in straight sets, 3-0.
Outside of the court and field, UTRGV Athletics athletes, coaches and staff all came together at the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses in a beautification effort. Trash was picked up on both campuses for two hours on Friday morning.
