MCALLEN- According to the Walt Disney Company, over sixty retail stores are closing its doors after the increase of online shopping during the pandemic.
The Rio Grande Valley was part of the first phase of the store closures. Valley residents will only be able to shop online for Disney products.
“Disney was one of the company’s that was affected by it [pandemic] the most, so that’s really sad,” said Alejandra Santos, a Disney employee.
