Dathan Trevino EDINBURG – Welcome Week at UTRGV is expected to have multiple events throughout the coming days for incoming and returning students to enjoy.
The International Meet and Greet will display over 60 countries’ flags in a colorful parade to celebrate all who attend UTRGV. The event will be held on Sept. 4. at the Edinburg Campus Ballroom lawn and Sept. 5 on the Brownsville campus courtyard
President Guy Bailey is expected to make an appearance at “Picnic with the President.”
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 4 on the Edinburg Campus Ballroom and at the same time Sept. 5 at the Brownsville campus Plains Capital Bank El Gran Salón
This year’s “Late Night at the Rec” will also be held from 9 p.m. to midnight, Sept. 5. The event promises to bring an exciting night of fun all while informing the UTRGV students on the facilities provided through the University Recreation.
