Weslaco- The 2019 Area-1 Special Olympic Spring Games kicked off this past Friday in Weslaco. Take a look at this video.
The games are intended to help boost health, mood and reduce anxiety for individuals who have disabilities.
UTRGV’s very own women’s basketball, track team, exercise science and H&K clubs came out to support the event.
Coach Armando Cueller from the Weslaco ISD School Board supports such events and encourages for more to continue in the future.
