Edinburg- The UTRGV Edinburg campus has good news for engineering students: a new engineering building is nearing its completion date. The new building located between the library and the Student Union is said to be completed this December, with an area of approximately 54 thousand square feet.
Apart from engineering, the building will also open doors to College of Business students and a new Clinical Psychology program.
Here are some of the features the Interdisciplinary Engineering and Academic Studies building has to offer.
The new building’s first floor will contain two study rooms for students, four engineering teaching labs, and four general classrooms, three containing 60 seats and one with 30 seats.
The second floor will contain two study rooms, two engineering teaching labs, four general classrooms with 60 seats, one doctoral seminar room for clinical psychology majors, and two computer labs for College of Business students.
