Brownsville- The Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is noting a change in the number of passengers during the Thanksgiving weekend and the week of Christmas.
Assistant Director of Aviation, Shawn Schroeder says he has seen an increase in travel and that the airport has brought back pre-covid flights from both United and American Airlines.
“Our numbers are increasing, incrementally increasing,” says Schroeder.
“We’re actually beating the national average with bringing our passengers back.”
