EDINBURG – The UTRGV Distinguished Speaker Series returned with Common, a Grammy-award winning artist, activist, and actor. The event was held last Tuesday at the Performing Arts Complex in Edinburg
Common spoke about the three pillars that he lives by to be the greatest. These pillars include establishing your purpose, having faith, and taking the time to serve your community.
“You claim something that you are. What are you claiming right now? Who do you claim to be?” asked Common.
