KVAQ-TV March 2, 2021

Pharr – The Pharr Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a carjacking suspect, who officials say was impersonating a police officer.

The victim told officials that a black Chevy Impala, that looked like a police vehicle with red and blue lights, pulled the victim over.

Officials say the suspect then approached the victim’s truck and pulled out a handgun, telling the victim to get out and then fleeing in the victim’s truck. The suspect is a male, approximately 30-40 years old.

If you have any information, please call the Pharr Police Department Crime Stopper line at (956) 787 – 8477.

Hidalgo County – The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man with the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police describe the suspect as a 21-year-old male with brown hair, hazel eyes, who is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 155-pounds. The suspect was last seen in Edcouch.

If you have any information, call the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office at (956) 383-8114 or anonymously call the Hidalgo County Crime Stoppers Hotline at (956) 668-8477.
