Victor Ortega EDINBURG – Construction is underway for a new tennis complex at UTRGV Edinburg, marking another major milestone in the university’s athletic overhaul.
The upgraded facility will feature new courts, locker rooms and an athletics pavilion, all while carrying over the historic Orville Cox name to honor the program’s legacy.
Athletics director Chasse Conque said while both teams had to be patient as other sports received upgrades, the wait will be over soon.
