EDINBURG (SEPTEMBER 7 @ 4:18 a.m.) – University Police issued a criminal trespass warning to a bicyclist caught cycling in the dark on campus.
Last Monday, an officer on patrol observed the man in parking lot E9 without proper lighting equipment.
The non-affiliated man was identified shortly after a computer check revealed a criminal history and criminal gang affiliation.
EDINBURG (SEPTEMBER 9 @ 7:10 a.m.) – An electrical wire that powers a nearby COVID-19 testing site in Edinburg reportedly damaged after routine lawn care.
The male staff member reported damaging the electrical wire while mowing the grass on Wednesday near parking lot E10.
Officials are working to repair the damage.
No word if the COVID-19 testing services were disrupted.
