UTRGV – The Vaquero Tech Centers and Apple Authorized Campus Stores are set to have a grand opening on November 19.
“Each store will have a little sitting area, I call it a hangout area, but a little sitting area with a TV screen monitor. We will be able to hold workshops there, professional development, student training, faculty training. Not only will we be able to sell these devices at the stores at educational pricing, which you can’t get at any other store, but there will also be a trained technician. So any repairs that need to be done, can be done on site and you don’t have to send them off to where,” said Deputy Provost’s Fellow for Academic Innovation Dr. Art Brownlow.
Don’t forget there will also be giveaways, refreshments, raffles and more! The grand opening will be at 11 a.m. in Brownsville and 3 p.m. in Edinburg.
