BROWNSVILLE – Student Activities hosted their 4th Distinguished Speaker Series of this academic semester with the grandson of Cesar Chavez, Eduardo Chavez.
Chavez shared his documentary, Hailing Cesar, which is about his journey to feel connected to the sacrifices and legacy of his late grandfather.
“It was like a constant reminder of not knowing who I was, being in college and getting Cesar Chavez day off and people would look at me, I never really felt like I had done anything,” said Chavez.
