UTRGV- On this week’s sports highlights, we’ve got some volleyball announcements to lined up. On Tuesday September 11th we had our girls play against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Star player of the night #3 Alex Ecker broke the program’s record since Haley Durham’s 341 blocks through the years 2012-2015. Ecker broke that with a total of 343.
“This was a historic night for you, you did break a record. How does one break a record like this?”
“I don’t know I guess hard work. It’s coming everyday and working hard, doing what I’m supposed to do,” said Ecker.
