For this week’s sports highlights, women’s basketball faced CSU Bakersfield Saturday, Feb. 9th. Junior Megan Johnson leads the girls with 14 points and six rebounds and Senior Idil Turk scores 11 points and four rebounds with two steals. Madison Northcutt scores 10 points with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Quynne Huggins scores 10 points when shooting a three-pointer and sophomore Amara Graham scores nine points with three assist.

The girls wrap up their fourth-straight win of the season against CSU with a lead of 64-56.
Up next, women’s tennis wins their first match of the season against Lamar University Sunday Feb. 10th with wins from freshman Nethmi Waduge and senior Dominique Ibarra. UTRGV took the win 4-3.
