On September 18 at 11:34 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on the south side of Unity Hall Drive. The operator was identified as a female student. A check on her driver’s license revealed five traffic warrants for unpaid fines of 950 dollars. The warrants were confirmed and she was arrested without incident. The vehicle was released to a family member at the scene. The student was issued written warnings for traffic violations and jailed in the Edinburg City Jail.
On September 19 at 12:20 a.m. a female student reported that someone placed a note, food, and a teddy bear on her bed in her room without her knowledge at the Casa Bella Apartments.
