BROWNSVILLE (AUGUST 17 @ 1:14 p.m.) – A staff member at the UTRGV bursar’s office reported that a female allegedly attempted to make a payment with fake money.
The report states that the female handed a counterfeit 20 dollar bill last Monday at the Brownsville campus.
The bill was confiscated and will be sent to the US secret service.
The case is still under investigation.
EDINBURG (AUGUST 18 @ 10:47 p.m.) – A university-owned vehicle accidentally crashed into a bollard last Tuesday.
Officials say the operator of the vehicle attempted to drive around the bollards of the Liberal Arts Building South, striking one of them and causing major damage to the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
