Homecoming Week is Almost Here

UTRGV – Homecoming is right around the corner and UTRGV has multiple events planned for students throughout the coming week.

UTRGV will kick off the week with The Dye Hard Orange 5K and will be held at 8:30 a.m, Feb. 10 at the Harlingen Clinical Education Building. The 5K hopes to promote spirit, tradition, and wellness with the orange themed event.

Monday Feb. 12 will be the UTRGV Royals vote, where students can cast their ballots on who they would like to see who will be crowned King and Queen for Homecoming. Online voting will be from 8:00 a.m, Feb. 12 to 11:59 p.m, Feb. 15. Students can cast their ballot through a link that will be sent out to their student email.

There will also be a “V My Valentine” Homecoming social and dance event that will be hosted by the Student Union at 4:00 p.m, Feb. 12.

Vaquero Boots & BBQ will be hosted 5:00 p.m, Feb. 13 at the Edinburg campus quad, where students are encouraged to come wear boots and jeans for the spirit of the event.
