UTRGV – HESTEC the Hispanic Engineering, Science and Technology week will now be taking place in the spring semester not only on the Edinburg campus, but other UTRGV campuses as well. AVP for Marketing and Communications tells us more.
“In the spring what we will be able to provide is what I mentioned earlier, a variety of programs that are more hands on that will allow our students to actually visit more of our campuses, interact more with professors and faculty,” said Patrick Gonzales, associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications.
HESTEC is nationally recognized for promoting careers among young people of all backgrounds, promoting a higher education in the RGV and encouraging students to consider careers in STEM.
