Health Authority Explains COVID-19 Vaccine Side Effects

Adam Cardona February 9, 2021

Cameron County – People across the Rio Grande Valley are lining up for a chance to receive a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The body’s response to the vaccine is different for each person.

“I have been sick, I have had aches before, but this was like another level. I know it sounds dramatic, but I had never ached like that before. I wasn’t prepared for that, mentally,” says health care worker Brandon VanOrnum.

Cameron County Health Authority, Dr. James W. Castillo II, explains why individuals respond with different side effects.
