US – The Center for Disease Control and Prevention removed a post on COVID-19 from its website two weeks ago.
The post states the virus is airborne and can travel distances beyond 6 feet. However, on Monday, September 21st, the CDC posted an update that provided correct information.
Caitlin Salinas, Psychology Sophomore at UTRGV explains her worries over the misinformation. “It’s kind of scary because we are over here thinking that it’s safe with social distancing but in reality we are not,” she stated.
