UTRGV- On this week’s sports highlights women’s basketball opens up their season and women’s volleyball sets a program record with an 11th win in the WAC tournament.
Saturday Nov. 10 women’s basketball played home against Texas Lutheran University. Sophomore Amara Graham lead the team with 15 points along with six assists and three steals.
Senior Nichele Hyman scored 14 points and senior Idil Turk scored 11 points with five rebounds, five assists and four steals.
And seniors Krisynthia Sampson scores 10 points along with Madison Northcutt with seven points.
Later #15 Hyman comes off the bench to throw the last three baskets of the second quarter with a pair of threes that increased the girls lead with 47-17.
