EDINBURG – “The Stand Together for Children Project,” a student-run project guided by New York professionals will be premiered in October at UTRGV.
The project started with the intention of promoting the help that religious leaders are providing to migrant children. The documentary observes the forced migration of children around the world and intends to be a call to action.
The main song, donated by former American Idol Director Michael Orland was performed by the UTRGV choir.
Chief Partnership and Development Officer and Liaison to the United Nations for Arigatou International Alibe Hamacher reflects on her work long-time friend and Executive Producer for the project Jeff Oppenheim.
“So, our worked always seemed to connect and we developed these projects.”
