EDINBURG- The City of Edinburg declared a $3 million budget dedicated to this year’s Capital Pavement Program, an estimate of 50 streets is set to be improved.
City Mayor Ramiro Garza mentions he is aware of the residents’ concerns and reports about street improvement needed around the community, a reason this budget was approved.
“One of the main needs that we have in our community is to take care of our streets. We continue to grow, there’s new subdivisions, we are now at one hundred thousand people and there’ s more vehicles driving through our city,” said Garza.
If any resident would like to make a report about street improvements in their area, they can call 311 or download the Edinburg 311 app and report any claims.
