United States– Pfizer and BioNTech’s latest development on their COVID-19 vaccine trial for the age group of 12 to 15 years old brings excitement to a Brownsville pediatrician, as they announce 100% efficacy.
“It is good for us and the pediatric population that we are going to be able to protect our parents and grandparents and elderly family members,” says Pediatrician Dr. Asim Zamir, M.D.
In a statement from Pfizer, they state that they hope to make the vaccine available to this age group by the start of the next school year .
