UTRGV – Although COVID-19 is closing some doors, UTRGV’s Counseling Center remains open online.
On August 31st, 2020, the Counseling Center held its annual event on International Overdose Awareness and Suicide Prevention virtually. According to Leah Ellis, Supervising Clinical Therapist, many students face mental health issues without knowing about services such as individual counseling and group counseling offered by the Counseling Center.
