Here’s this week’s police reports released to us by UTRGV PD this past week:
On November 18 at 8:55 a.m. a female student reported that she was involved in a disturbance with her non-affiliated ex-boyfriend in the area of lot B1. During the interaction, he pushed her causing her pain in the abdomen. Just prior to leaving the area the ex-boyfriend took her purse. The subject left the area prior to the officer’s arrival. The purse as since been returned and the case is under investigation.
On November 19 at 1:16 p.m. a male student reported he had placed his laptop on the roof of his vehicle and forgot to get it before he drove off from parking lot E-29. The student returned to check the parking lots he drove through but he was unable to locate his laptop.
On November 20 at 10:40 p.m. officers were dispatched to Casa Bella Apartments in reference to a female on an apartment balcony screaming. Investigation revealed the female, a current student had consumed alcoholic beverages, along with five other students that were at location. There were a total of seven students involved in the incident. Out of the seven students at the apartment, six students were issued written warnings for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Four of the six were non-residents therefore they were also issued criminal trespass warnings. One student was only issued a criminal trespass warning. Incident was referred to Student Rights and Responsibilities for further review.
