EDINBURG – This past Thursday, the City of Edinburg hosted their 21ST annual Halloween Fall Festival at the Edinburg Municipal Park.
The City of Edinburg Parks and Recreation planned a night filled with activities for the whole family. There were special performances by Edinburg CISD elementary schools, a costume contest for different age groups, food, games, and rides. A festival attendee speaks about the event.
“I think it’s a very good opportunity not just for the organizations that are here, but for kids as well and the community just to get them involved. And you see right here we do like to keep the kids involved, active. They like all the colorful costumes, the candies all that stuff,” said Alex, a festival attendee.
The City of Edinburg hopes to continue making these festivals bigger and better than previous years for the community to enjoy.
