Monica Chavez Brownsville- The new UTRGV volt’s purple circuit will serve the visitor center, the student academic center, and enhance the connections with the vaquero connector for students coming from Brownsville.
Director of transportation Maribel Contreras gave us the details on the changes proposed for UTRGV volt and vaquero express this fall semester.
“We do have the discontinuation of the blue circuit in the Edinburg campus, introduction of the purple circuit in the Edinburg campus, suspension of the evolve from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm, also the Weslaco/Brownsville connector into the orange line”, Contreras said.
The changes took effect on august at the beginning of the fall 2023 semester.
