Desiree Villanueva EDINBURG – UTRGV broke the record for the most incoming students with 34,000 freshman and transfer students.
Senior Vice President for Strategic and Student Affairs Maggie Hinojosa spoke on the increase and how they prepared for this fall semester.
“That growth is really managed,” Hinojosa said. “What I mean is strategically managed so when we look at our enrollment projection were looking at undergrads and specific pockets of undergrads what do we think our freshman will be?”
