Junior midfielder Cade Erickson played a pivotal role in the closing minutes by forcing a turnover, allowing UTRGV to retain control of the game.
Freshman Pablo Torre capitalized on this opportunity, securing the final goal and sealing the Vaqueros’ win in their home finale.
The Vaqueros also had a scoreless draw against San Diego State on Thursday.
