EDINBURG – With holidays just around the corner, roads maybe become more congested. To combat poor driving, driving schools are doing their part to teach people how to be more responsible on the road.
Aside from driving under the influence, reckless driving comes in other forms such as texting and driving or eating while driving. RST Driving School’s instructor Debra Gonzalez says a driver’s license does not mean a more responsible driver.
A speeding ticket can cost up to 235 dollars in select areas and passing a red light can also lead to a 170 dollar fine. Just some of the reasons why driving instructors like Gonzales – spend a total of seven hours driving with students before they are able to take their driving exam.
