Fernanda Gonzalez Salazar is the Director for the Edinburg Campus. She is majoring in Mass Communication as a Senior. Her hobbies include hanging out with friends, watching series, cooking, and riding her scooter. Her goal is to become a war reporter and be an anchor on TV someday.
Dathan Treviño is the Assistant Director for the Edinburg campus. He is a Theater Major with a concentration in Film production. His hobbies include playing games, making playlists, listening to those playlists, and watching movies. Dathan hopes to pursue a career as a filmmaker after gaining a love for movies from his brother. He plans on joining the film industry after college.
Juan Carlos Marquez JR is the TV Web Producer for the Edinburg Campus. He is majoring in Visual Communications Design as a Sophomore. His hobbies include painting, collecting vinyl records, gaming, reading, watching series, creating digital art, and studying various history forms. His goals include becoming a freelance multimedia artist, creating a webcomic, or working in the entertainment industry.
Perla Cortez is a Multimedia Journalist at the Edinburg campus. She is majoring in Broadcasting with a minor in Theater Arts as a Junior. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, playing video games, creating content on YouTube/ TikTok, exploring new places, and going to plays. Her main ambition is to act in films or do voiceover performances for TV shows and become a talk show host with her show while creating her cafe.
Alexandra Salazar is the TV/Video Editor for the Edinburg Campus. She is majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Film Production as a Sophomore. Her hobbies include reading, taking photos, listening to music, and playing games. Her goal is to pursue a career in the filmmaking industry behind the scenes as she enjoys helping people make their films become reality.
Desiree Villanueva is the Multimedia Journalist for the Edinburg Campus. She is majoring in Mass Communication in Broadcast Journalism as a Junior. Her hobbies include dancing, fishing, listening to music, and hunting. She aims to pursue a career in the TV industry as a sports or entertainment anchor and hopes to further her education in Meteorology.
Victor Ortega is the Multimedia Journalist for the Brownsville campus. His hobbies are playing video games and going to the movies in Mexico since “it’s way cheaper.” He would love to work as a film or TV producer in the future.
