United States – The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a statement outlining new rules for people who have already been vaccinated, including the cancellation of quarantines after exposure to COVID-19.
The CDC states that those who do not need to self-quarantine must meet certain requirements.
Student Assistant for The Office of Student Success, Jerry Galindo, mentions that his initiative to get vaccinated was to protect himself and his loved ones.
“I really wouldn’t advise going out at all; even if you take the vaccine, it’s about, you know, stopping this spread ultimately,” says Galindo.
“No matter what, I really do feel that you should stay home.”
