BROWNSVILLE (April 15 @ 8:42 p.m.) — A U.S. Border Patrol Officer finds a 50-pound bundle of marijuana in the wooded area off campus south of the Vaquero Plaza in Brownsville.
That bundle was discovered after Border Patrol agents arrested a man from Mexico at the intersection of U-S Highway 77/83 and University Boulevard.
A USBP agent said the man was seen carrying a bundle, but was not carrying that bundle at the time of the arrest.
The encounter is still under investigation.
