Edinburg- With a smile on his face, President Bailey handed out hamburger buns to students for the 3rd annual Picnic with the President.
Students got the chance to meet UTRGV’s President Guy Bailey while they stood in line for a free meal.
It was also an opportunity for Bailey to get to know students as he took the time to ask them individually their name and majors.
Bailey mentioned there will be new degree programs for students very soon, including Clinical Psychology and Physical Therapy.
“We want to continue trying to help our student be successful, and to graduate at higher and higher rates. helping you graduate is the single, most important thing we do,” said President Bailey.
UTRGV is moving forward with various degree programs so that students don’t feel the need to leave the Valley.
