Edinburg- Parking is considered a major issue by most UTRGV students. But what if you didn’t have to drive miles and miles to get to campus or struggle to find a parking spot in the mornings
A campaign called ‘Make UTRGV Home’ wants to ensure students know all the benefits of living on campus.
Residence Life intends to inform students on the unique community of 800 students living on campus. Students have the option of staying at Unity Hall, Heritage Hall, Troxel Hall or the shared apartments, The Village and Casa Bella.
By living on campus, students also have the flexibility to walk to their rooms during their free times.
Having professional staff constantly helping student residents is also very convenient.
Sergio Martinez, director for Housing and Residence Life, wants to remind students that there are various ways to cover the cost of living on campus, including financial aid, scholarships, installment plans, or working on campus.
