EDINBURG – Each year the Study Abroad Fair takes place at the UTRGV Edinburg and Brownsville campus to help students explore other places around the world while learning. Students are able to gain cultural awareness by learning different perspectives, languages and values along with personal growth.
“The process is so new and different than what they’ve done before they start learning, experiencing things before they even leave on the plane,” said Marianita Escamilla, lecture and writing studies professor.
