IMAS’s registrar and exhibits coordinator says the holiday serves to keep the memory and spirits of loved ones alive.
“It’s a way to remember the dead and also to see them in a different aspect, not so much about the sadness of it, but the happiness of their memories and also bringing them alive on that day,” said IMAS’s Registrar and Exhibits Coordinator Mayra Zepeda.
Saturday, November 2, IMAS will host a Day of the Dead celebration complete with activities for the entire family.
