Edinburg- After celebrating a win against the Oklahoma State baseball team, UTRGV hosts a tailgate, inviting students and the community to partake another celebration of Homecoming Week.
Hundreds of people made their way out to the field house parking lot to enjoy the warm weather with activities and entertainment, all hosted by UTRGV organizations.
“We’re a commuter school, so there’s a lot of involvement,” said computer science senior Jose Balanza. “But I think it’s pretty nice that the university is always trying to keep their students involved outside the classroom as well.”
Events in both Edinburg and Brownsville took place during Homecoming week, raising the spirits of UTRGV’s students.
