MCALLEN- Southern Roots Flower Market talks about how their business differs from the rest of the flower shops in the Rio Grande Valley.
“We have things that come from all over the world,” said Mariana Linaldi, Owner of Southern Roots, regarding their preparations for Valentine’s Day. “So, we really try to take our time, you know to order, especially right now with covid, that uh transportation is so difficult”
According to Linaldi, customers can add their own touch of creativity by coming in and picking their own blooms, making every bouquet different.
Mariana Linaldi also mentions their planning on expanding their business in the coming years and they invite the community to stop by and pick some flowers.
