MCALLEN- The three-acre Townlake at Firemen’s Park opened on top of the city’s first water plant in 1927 and was the fire department’s training ground.
Marketing in special events coordinator, Ricardo Cantu says a lot of plans are in place.
“Some upcoming events of this month, we actually have our Tiny 2k Glow Run. It’s for little kids, ages 2 through 7 at Las Palmas Community Center,” said Cantu.
