Brownsville– The city of Brownsville is working towards bringing better broadband to its residents.
Residents in certain areas are affected by not having the foundation for internet providers to get them connected.
“I have to be in my car even for the end of the year awards for my son last year, we had to literally drive down the street until we got internet on our phones because we do not have any source of internet at home, there is nothing,” says Brownsville Resident Veronica Hinojosa.
According to the city’s plan, the timeline for the completion of this project is the year 2023.
