MCALLEN- A local drag artist shared his life becoming “Saruh tea” on stage.
“I am more confident as Saruh tea than I am as Michael,” said Michael Zarate. “It is just a whole different persona and makes me feel a lot better.”
Ayden Castellanos, an audience member, said he is appreciative of the growing support of the drag business.
“Sometimes you never know what you are going to see,” shared Castellanos. “It has some of the most creative and bravest people.”
