Edinburg- UTRGV University Productions will be presenting an adaptation of the play Sense and Sensibility by Kate Hamill.
Director Kent Smither has been preparing for over a year.
Not only do actors play more than one than three characters, but are also crew members within the scenes.
“There is a lot of scene changes that we are part of, we’re moving a lot of furniture. There’s a lot of dropping character and becoming another one on stage for the audience to see. So it’s super challenging, probably one of the more challenging plays I’ve been a part of,” said actress Selina Alvarado.
The play will be presented in the Albert L. Jeffers Theater.
The show will run from February 20th through the 24th, followed by a panel discussion.
